The Village is happy to announce that we received $1,761,200 for downtown streetscape and pedestrian improvements. This award will allow us to complete our Main St sidewalk project, as well as improve the intersection at Main and Chestnut, permanently mark crosswalks, restore our historic lampposts, improve signage, replace street furniture and add bike racks. Since December 2012, the Village of Cooperstown has received nearly $2.4 million in grants/awards to revitalize and beautify Main St.
