Last year during the pandemic, the Village was able to install two sets of banner poles on Main Street, replacing one banner location that was currently being used and one that had not been used for some time. The new banner systems do not require hanging banners from the buildings on Main Street, have been designed to withstand certain wind forces, and allow clearance for delivery trucks. They can accommodate banners of 20 feet by 3 feet. If you are planning to hang a banner on Main Street to advertise your non-profit special event, please make sure it is sized appropriately and that it has wind flaps. We apologize that old taller banners cannot be rehung using the new poles.
